The Times partnered with the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana to gather donations at a community event. Promotion included pre-event advertising and event signage.
I am a graphic designer who developed her design skills at The Times Media Company - the second-largest daily newspaper in Indiana with a circulation of more than 92,000.
I worked in both the advertising and marketing departments, taking on a variety of tasks along the way. I have been a copy writer, creative team leader, project manager, promotions director and event design coordinator. My primary job was designing campaigns and promotions that were instrumental in growing circulation, readership, community awareness and advertising revenue.
Currently, I am in a management position at Jo-Ann Fabrics & Crafts. My time there has allowed me to build my skills as a team leader, guiding employees through daily tasks to ensure a positive customer experience.
